Will announcements work when my device is locked?
While TimeAura is visible, it uses your selected live voice and chime. When the app is locked or another app is open, iOS delivers scheduled notification chimes instead. Make sure TimeAura notifications and sounds are enabled in Settings.
How does Clock Aligned timing work?
Clock Aligned sessions land on wall-clock boundaries. A 30-minute interval cues on the hour and half-hour; a 15-minute interval cues at each quarter-hour.
Why was I asked for alarm permission?
On supported operating-system versions, TimeAura can use Apple’s system-managed alarms for reliable completion of timed sessions. Earlier versions of iOS and iPadOS use a local-notification fallback.
How do I keep the display awake?
The display stays awake while a session is active and TimeAura is visible. Enable “Keep display awake between sessions” in More Settings if you also want the clock to remain awake while idle.
Why are some voices different across devices?
TimeAura lists compatible voices installed on your device and prioritizes enhanced or premium voices when available. Additional system voices can be managed in Apple’s accessibility settings. If a selected voice is removed, TimeAura safely returns to the system default.
Which devices are supported?
TimeAura supports iPhone and iPad running iOS or iPadOS 15 or later. Newer systems automatically enable supported system experiences while preserving the core clock and session features on older devices.
Does TimeAura collect my data?
No. TimeAura requires no account and does not collect personal data or analytics. Preferences and schedules remain on your device. Read the privacy policy.
